Magellan Project

Found only at Washington & Jefferson College, The Magellan Project provides students with necessary funding to pursue their independent summer research projects. As this is my first Magellan Project, this summer I will be apprenticing at Csenge Advisory Group in Washington, Pennsylvania. Csenge is a premier wealth management company offering their services in three areas:

They provide the best wealth management and education they can to individuals and families. They work with employers and employees to properly satisfy their fiduciary obligations and have a productive program. They host a communal practice environment for advisors seeking to learn and practice the best they can. Headquartered out of Clearwater, Florida, Csenge works in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and California as well.

During my two months with the firm my role will be focused on development of social media networks and messaging on their new website and respective outlets. Reaching multiple generations of American's with the data they crave has become a challenge in the industry. Csenge has recently acquired more communication avenues and plan to utilize and capitalize on them with my help. The educational component of my time will be focused on learning about wealth management, the financial industry, security and market analysis, employer and individual retirement plans, and how to adequately asses the risks and rewards of multiple investments.

About

I am a rising senior at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, Pennsylvania. I grew up in Carlisle, Pennsylvania and attended Carlisle Area School District. My professional interests in college have led me to pursue a major in economics with a minor in business administration. Currently I serve as the President of the W&J Men's Rugby Club as well as Secretary of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Mr. Joseph Piszczor, financial advisor at Csenge and the W&J Men’s Rugby Coach helped me secure my internship. After my undergraduate days at Washington & Jefferson College, I plan to attend graduate school to further my studies in business and economics and earn an M.B.A.
